Thursday 18 January 2024 – Danish-Norwegian 90s pop icons Aqua, are heading down under this March to headline the 90s tour of our dreams! Joining the party are special guests, 2 Unlimited, East 17, Phats & Small, Big Brovaz, Booty Luv, and Urban Cookie Collective.
The tour will kick off at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on the 21st of March, then onto Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on the 22nd of March, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on the 24th of March, Adelaide Entertainment Centre on the 26th of March, and finishing off the tour at Perth’s RAC Arena on the 28th of March.
Their first time here since 2018, pop-dance megastars Aqua will bring their high-energy pop tunes to Australian shores. The hitmakers have a vibrant legacy, with top hits ‘Barbie Girl,’ ‘Doctor Jones,’ and ‘Lollipop (Candyman)’ having a combined 597 million streams on Spotify and being a staple on every club DJ playlist. In their recent resurgence on the box office record-breaking Barbie movie soundtrack, their tune ‘Barbie World’ with Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice has already reached 397 million streams.
Joining them on the tour will be Belgian-Dutch electronic dance duo 2 Unlimited, who have banked an impressive sixteen international chart hits, including ‘Get Ready,’ ‘Twilight Zone,’ and ‘No Limit,’ and sold 18-million records worldwide.
The cool sounds of English boy band East 17 will join the line-up, romancing audiences with tracks like ‘Stay Another Day’ and ‘House Of Love’ and with their unique style of pop and hip hop, the group have released eighteen top 20 singles and four 10 albums.
Big Brovaz, one of the UK’s favourite R&B Hip Hop acts will also be joining the line-up, along with British Dance Music Group, Booty Luv, formed by Big Brovaz members, Cherise Roberts and Nadia Shepherd. The group have had an impressive five top 20 hits in the UK and have toured in Australia previously with S Club 7 members.
British electronic dance duo Phats & Small are on the lineup alongside Urban Cookie Collective, who’ll have the audience dancing along with their renowned Eurodance hits.
